Our Company

German Special Alloys was founded in Willich in 2015 by Serdar Baysan and Dr. Hans-Werner Gundlach. The two founders had first met in 2011 at a trade fair in Cologne – as competitors. Rivalry turned into mutual respect and, eventually, into a partnership built on a shared conviction: high-quality alloys are best made where materials expertise, in-house production and regulatory approval are in one hand.

Serdar Baysan, a master dental technician who had been running his own alloy brand since 2008, contributed his experience from the laboratory and from sales – Dr. Gundlach his many years of experience in dental technology.

Today we manufacture welding rods, chill castings and metal powders on a cobalt, nickel and iron base in Willich – with our own production, certified processes and a team that consistently returns metal to the material cycle.
